Concrete Finishes

To give your concrete project the perfect extra touch, we have a number of great options for finishes available to fit your style and budget. Our selection of concrete finishes includes:

Broom Finish

Broom Finish

One of our most popular finishes, this is a great option for almost any concrete surface. It gives the concrete sharp, straight lines while also giving extra traction to high-traffic areas.
Swirl Finish

Swirl Finish

With this option, your concrete will have a distinct circular pattern in it that not only adds to the appearance of your concrete surface but also provides added traction to make it safer to walk on.
Stamped Concrete

Stamped Concrete

For those who want an outstanding custom look for their concrete, we have a wide range of stamped concrete patterns to choose from, including Ashlar Slate and Seamless Stamp. Talk to us about finish options to make your driveway, walkway or pool deck stand out without sacrificing strength or durability.
Exposed Aggregate

Exposed Aggregate

This finish, where aggregate is mixed with concrete, provides a great alternative to traditional concrete surfaces. It gives any concrete surface, including driveways, patios, and pool decks, an appealing look while also being slip resistant and strong enough to withstand heavier vehicles and other items.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve found over the years that many of our customers have the same questions about concrete installations for their homes. Below are answers to some of the most common questions our customers have - if you have a question about a new concrete project for your home, reach out to us and let us guide you through the process.

A: Yes, if your project will cross property owned by the city or town. Driveway projects will always require a permit as they will always cross municipal property, and if you don’t have a permit in place by the end of your driveway installation project, you could be subject to a fine.
A: For private property, all concrete needs to be four inches thick. For concrete passing municipal property, the thickness of concrete required will depend on the city or town. The City of Windsor requires five inch concrete while Lakeshore and Kingsville require six inches, for example.
A: For concrete on private property, we use wire mesh reinforcement for extra stability. This helps your driveway or other surface remain stronger and more resistant to damage without having to add extra inches of concrete. For concrete on property owned by the municipality, reinforcements cannot be added as material like wire mesh can make it harder to access utility lines underneath in case of emergency. This is why concrete passing over property controlled by the city or town has to be thicker -…
A: Typically, you should wait 7-10 days before parking on a brand new concrete driveway in order to allow it to fully set.
A: Yes! Opinions on the exact amount to water new concrete vary, but we recommend watering it twice a day for seven days after it’s been put in.
A: While this can depend on a number of factors, including how much use it gets and the weight typically put on it, we expect new concrete driveways to last at least twenty years.
